I'm pretty sure I use YouTube every day. I'd use it more if it did porn. Fortunately it doesn't. Or is that unfortunately? I'm not sure. Anyway, I've used it for years now. I started putting videos up in 2006 and have had almost 20,000 video views since then. I suppose that's quite a few. It's half the population of my home town.
I do like the "recommended for you" section on the home page, but sometimes I wonder what its suggestions say about me. Loading the page up now, these are the eight videos that it offers me and the 'info' that the authors put about them:
1. Time Warp - Fire Breathers
http://discovery.com/timewarp
To avoid burning themselves, the Fuel Girls use high flash point fluids like barbeque starter fluid or ultra pure lamp oil.
Catch Time Warp - Wednesdays @ 8pm E/T, only on Discovery.
2. Mirror's Edge (Demo) Glitch - Roam Freely on Training Mode
Just Follow and do what I do.
3. Back to the Future Outtake
See Christopher Lloyd's secret on-set drinking problem in this never before seen outtake from Back to the Future II.
4. Parkour : Wall Running in Parkour Training
Learn differnt ways to perform "Wall Running" moves while practicing Parkour.
5. The Triple Frisbee Catch Finally Caught on Tape
I believe this is the only evidence that exists of this trick ever being pulled off. If you are aware of any other video featuring this trick, please let me know. Oh yeah, sorry for the serious tone, just wanted the attention to be on Venus in this one:).
6. Top 10 Racist Things Said On Live TV
Top 10 of racism on live tv
7. Metallica The God That Failed by Cesar Huesca
Buy Cesar Huesca CD now!!! http://cdbaby.com/cd/cesarhuesca
Track #10 from the classic Metallica "black album"
Enter http://www.myspace.com/cesarhuesca to listen clips of some of my own songs, watch some pics, read personal info, my setup and gear etc etc.
¡¡¡NOTE!!!
Actual song used as backing track.
I don't have at hand any guitar tabs, all songs pulled out by ear and memorized and some parts may not be the same as the original song.
No rack gear used for this video, guitar patch sound generated by the Boss DR-880 drum machine + a Wylde Overdirve + a Dunlop Original Crybaby wah
8. iPhone NES Emulator
Video of the InfoNES emulator running natively on the iPhone. Binaries & source available at http://code.google.com/p/iphonenes/
The Mirrors Edge, music stuff and the Parkour tricks I understand, but a dog catching fisbees and "The top 10 racist things said on live TV"? Better get my KKK hood out and start burning crosses in the street.
Actually, living near Peckham, that's probably not the smartest idea. I'd be all kinds of messed up. I'd better move to the south of America. Somewhere like Texas. Yes, Texas. They don't mind a nice racist, just don't diss Nascar.
